I attended a networking event because a friend of mine was hosting it and I had not been out of the house for a while.
I had a great time and it reminded me why networking is important. I get a lot of spam wanting me to "network" to promote my career. I currently have a good job and more importantly a good boss. I do not have any plans to change jobs in the foreseeable future. So why is it important to network? To relax with people that have something in common.
