This is a post in which I am keeping up with the features I will be adding to my robomow. It will probably take me forever to get through any of them with family life, but it will still be fun.
- Backlight in the manual remote. They already have this, but I don't want to pay $85 for the honors of putting an LED in. Theirs is side light not even full backlight like an LCD.
- A continue function, or restart. I don't know what the right name is, but if the mower gets stuck it will restart after it gets assistance with the job it was currently working on.
- A trailer /w attachments for spreading seed, or possibly to aerate the yard. The 1000 has a lot of towing capacity, if you turn off the blades he is even able to go quite a ways. The hard part is getting the wire sensor in the trailer so he knows when he comes to the wire. Also safety bumpers as we don't want the accessories to be any less safe than the original mower. This would especially be good for aerating, except for islands' will have to think about that.
- The ability to go in a more direct line to a zone to mow it in automatic mode. Following the entire 3000+ feet of perimeter wire is not very efficient and he already has trouble with efficiency.
- Quick charger in docking station. I know that FR has had this designed for over 4 years, but mine didn't come with one and I can't even buy one if I give them a ton of money.
